Home made PerformaProtein Bars

Thanks to THR1VE enthusiast and brilliant body Coady, here is her recipe for your very own PerformaProtein bars. These are perfect for a busy week, to keep at home or bring with you rather than a naughty mid-afternoon pick me up.

Ingredients

2 tbsp flax seed meal
4 tbsp water
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2/3 cup almond butter
1/3 cup creamed honey
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2tsp cinnamon
2tsp stevia
1/2 cup brown rice puffs
1/2 cup of oats
1/4 cup chia seeds
1tbsp cacao
1 banana
10 pitted dates, chopped
1/2 tsp baking powder
Handful of dried apricots & cranberries
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup THR1VE PerformaProtein (you can buy this in store or online here)

Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Mix flax seed and water and set aside
Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl
Combine all wet ingredients in a medium bowl
Add wet to dry ingredients

Combine well and pour your mix into a brown tray and bake for 25 minutes
Let cool and place in the fridge for 30 minutes
