This is the perfect take-with-you snack packed full of goodness in a bite-sized ball. Super easy to make and a fun task with friends or the kids over the weekend, and no baking or oven time required! If you’re looking for an extra protein-hit or a pick-me-up that’s everything but naughty, get rolling. THR1VE customer Coady shares her recipe:
1 cup pitted dates (soaked)
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup THR1VE PerformaProtein
(available in store or online here)
1/2 cup oats
1/3 cup walnuts
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp peppermint extract (optional)
Extra shredded coconut to roll in
Add dates to a bowl, cover with water and soak for 15mins.
Add nuts, Thr1ve protein and oats – blend until crumby.
Add soaked dates, coconut, cacao & coconut oil.
Add peppermint and blend.
Form mixture into bite size balls and roll in either your coconut Place in fridge until set.
